Advanced Warfare Resolution

Advanced Warfare Resolution

Resolution Up in the Air but 60 FPS Secured

call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-kevin-spacey-frame-rate-resolution

The resolution of Call of Duty’s Advanced Warfare is still a mystery but sources state the frame rate will be 60 frames per second.

"So we're 60 frames a second all the way. We are not talking about the – we're still waiting for announcements to come out in terms of where we're at with the resolutions, but I can tell you that the three year development title that we've had, working with everyone involved to make sure that we're getting it right… we're still optimizing the game, but even with where we're at right now, we're really happy. We're ahead of where we were last year, and we still have time, we still have a couple of months to go."

60 frames per second is a major increase and will significantly increase the quality with visualization of gameplay within Advanced Warfare over previous Call of Duty releases. We are assuming this will translate over to online multiplayer but are uncertain at this time. Many gamers know that higher resolutions and increased frame rates do not translate into better online gameplay but the effects of these advancement will help the industry focus on the overall quality of online multiplayer gaming. If not, players will vent and developers will have to listen.

Straight up, low resolution, tube style monitors and high internet speeds are where many like to game at as far as response times and dominating any given online multiplayer match. It does take time to feed images into a viewable source especially at 60 frames per minute. The resolution lag looms as a possible gaming issue but increased internet speeds help crunch this gaming curve.

Either way, Call of Duty’s Advanced Warfare is sure to be a huge increase in viewer quality over previous releases. It is still poised to be an epic release and one which Gamer.Ninja is waiting for.

Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Reveal

Advanced Warfare Multiplayer Reveal

call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-reveal-gamer-ninja

Today at Gamescom in Cologne Germany Activision and Sledgehammer Games offered an insider view of the Call of Duty series Advanced Warfare and its online multiplayer offerings. The main theme throughout the reveal was “You Play Your Way”. Customization is pinnacle within Advanced Warfare Multiplayer and customizing everything from your load-out to your player is going to be had.

The initial announcement was about the addition of the EXO Movements and Abilities. The addition of “EXO” is just this. EXO involves the exoskeleton of the player and encompasses such things as the Boost Jump, Boost Slide and Boost Slam. It will also involve three options of hover, cloak and shield and the addition of the threat grenade.

The next thing on the list was Supply Drops. XP will still exist but you will also get advantages of adding in character gear, reinforcements and weapon loot.

Weapon Loot:

Gamers will be able to modify their bare weapons beyond anything like in the past. There will be more available add-ons than in any other release of Call of Duty.

Character Gear:

AW will offer a new charter system overall. Customizing your player within Advanced Warfare Multiplayer will be more engaging than ever before. From weapons down to eye glasses, customization is going to be a huge part of your player and character.

Reinforcements:

Reinforcements with Advanced Warfare offers the gamer new perks and score streaks. This will help the new and noob player bigtime and offer beginners a better chance overall at winning matches.

The next big thing released was the advancement in Supply Drops. Basically this translates into the more you play, the more you receive. At this point Sledgehammer went into Pick 13 and it being way better than Pick 10 from Black Ops II. If you recall Pick 10, then you will understand Pick 13 and it being much better. It involves customizable score streaks, option add-ons and even the advent of a rocket controlled turret.

The next biggest announcement was the integration of Co-op Scorestreaks. Basically two players can collaborate and work together to earn Scorestreaks. Scorestreaks are very close to Killstreaks and all you have to do is just imagine working together on Killstreaks with another player. Basically you can work in collaboration with another player to ear Scorestreaks and dominate a match.

Virtual Firing Range:

Here at Gamer.Ninja, we believe the coolest reveal of Gamescom 2014 and Advanced Warfare Multiplayer will be the addition of the Virtual Shooting Range. If there is any major advancement within the Call of Duty Multiplayer series, this will be it. It stands out as one of those “Why Did They Not Think of This Before” ideas. You basically get to pre-try you load-out before you actually get into the multiplayer match. Once you select your best load-out, you are given the option of going into your own private shooting range to test out your load-out against real action targets. This is cool and an idea which makes perfect sense. You can try out your load-out prior to entering a match. This is huge. This is a major breakthrough. One breakthrough that will be sure to be a hit in Gamer.Ninja’s opinion.

Create-An-Operator:

Create-An-Operator offers fine tuning of a player down to the very smallest detail. Basically this allows the gamer to create his/hers won player down to the color of hair and stance. From the EXOskeletons to Boosts, you can create a player that is almost identical to your own self. It is almost scary how detailed your player can become.

Virtual Lobby:

The second most innovative design within Advanced Warfare would be the advent of the Virtual Lobby. Basically is makes the lobby time wait a little more interesting. As you wait to gain access to a match the Virtual Lobby will allow the gamer to virtually view their opponents. Up and down and side to side, you can view what you about to go up against. From armor to load-outs, you can view what you opponents are going to unleash on you even before entering the next match. This is not just going to be a release of gamer stats. This will be a release of everything including the underwear.

Advanced Warfare offers both a competitive and social feel within the gameplay. The additions of the above show us some major breakthroughs in what gamers are asking for.

The next release in the Gamer.Ninja offerings surrounding the Advanced Warfare multiplayer edition will be the secrete reveal and the maps revealed for Advanced Warfare and what they will be offering.

Increase Your K-D | COD Ghosts

Increase Your K-D | COD Ghosts

Gamer.Ninja offers Five Tips to Help Increase Your Kill-Death Ratio on Call of Duty Ghosts

Are you a gamer looking to increase your Kill/Death ratio on Call of Duty Ghosts? Would you like to have a K-D which stands out and is above average?

increase-your-k-d-gamer-ninja

Well here at Gamer.Ninja we are going to run down five ways to increase your Kill Death ratio on COD Ghosts. You K/D on a mega multiplayer game such as Ghosts is a huge thing to many gamers. Increasing Your K-D can make or break you getting into clans and standing out in the ones you may already be in. Gaming is meant to be fun, but there are certain aspects of gaming that are meant to be competitive and your kill/death ratio would be one of those aspects. The higher the K-D the better the player is.

K-D Explained

As the editions of Call of Duty are released and gamers start playing them, it has become more and more important right from eh start to focus on your kill/death ratio. The kill/death ratio is just as it sound, it is the ratio which rates you performance based on how many kills you made against how many time you have died. Your K-D is accumulative and grows or slows the entire time you play the Multiplayer option of Call of Duty Ghosts. K-D comes down to the higher amount of kills you make verses how many times you have died. The outcome will dictate what your K-D will be. You kill/death ratio is displayed to all you encounter while playing COD Ghosts in multiplayer mode. In short, the idea is to kill more and die less. This would be the basic idea behind how your kill/death ratio plays out.

So, how does one increase their kill/death ratio?

No pun intended, there is no real magic bullet to increasing your K-D in Call of Duty Ghosts, but there are some ways a gamer can increase their K-D if it is suffering. Remember, if K-D is important to you the idea is to start from the “start” with K-D in mind. It is much easier to start a new game focusing on your K-D than it is trying to increase it from a mid-gameplay point. In-short, if you have many hours, possibly hundreds of hours, dedicated into a particular game it will be much more difficult to change a poor K-D than if K-D was the focus from the start when starting to play the game. But, if you are one of those who suffer from very poor K-D in Call of Duty Ghosts, all is not lost and we plan on helping those in this predicament.

Gamer.Ninja offers five ways to help increase your K-D when playing multiplayer Call of Duty Ghosts.

  1. The first thing here at Gamer.Ninja we can suggest to increase your K-D is to focus on increasing your K-D. If K-D means this much to you, you need to make sure you are focusing your efforts on increasing your K-D, not just complaining about it or not doing anything about it at all.
  2. Try to understand what you’re doing wrong during your gameplay that is causing you to die more than kill. Is it frustration? Is it your gaming situation surrounding you? If you have a frustrating situation surrounding you when playing, this could play a major role in how you’re K-D will play out.
  3. Internet connection and network connection is point of focus. If you are diehard gamer and headstrong on getting your K-D up, make sure your internet and overall network connection is structured for gaming. Is your internet connection fast enough? Is your network structured for gaming or for everyday use? Are you using a WiFi connection during gaming or using a wired Ethernet connection during gaming? Dig into this and you will find that it does play a major role in how your gameplay plays out.
  4. Play in a clan or group. Playing in a clan or group will help you increased your K-D because you are going into gameplay with people who want you’re to win. They will help you win via input and feedback during the gameplay. Playing in a clan or group actually makes game play much more fun and we feel also translates into better overall gameplay. Playing with your fellow clan members or friends does help those playing increase their gameplay overall because a given person feels they have an obligation to win when in a group verses by themselves. The biggest factor thought is the input you get from your fellow player that can help you during gameplay.
  5. Straight Up Call of Duty: The fifth and the best way we suggest to help increase your K-D is to switch your gameplay to Hardcore mode. A person who suffers from a poor K-D will find themselves suffering from this because of many hours getting killed in regular gameplay mode on Call of Duty Ghosts. It may take a couple matches to get used to Hardcore mode but in the end the gamer who switches will start to see a more balanced death to kill ratio than when playing non-Hardcore gameplay in COD Ghosts.

There are certainly many other ways a player can focus on to increase their K-D when playing Call of Duty Ghosts, but we feel the above ways are the Top Five. If your kill/death ratio means a ton to you, the best way to increase your K-D is to focus on it. It is staggering how many complain about their K-D but do absolutely nothing about. We are talking millions. It takes those who want to increase their K-D to actually increase their K-D. Millions of gamers complain about K-D, but very few actually do anything about it. Hopefully the above article helps some of those suffering from poor K-D increase their odds and increases their Kill/Death ratio.

Please share with us here at Gamer.Ninja your thoughts on how to increase you K-D in Call of Duty Ghosts. We want to hear from you and appreciate your input.

The latest from Sledgehammer Games and Call of Duty | Advanced Warfare

07/31/2014

call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-release-date

Sledgehammer will be releasing the latest edition of the Call of Duty series, Advanced Warfare, this fall on 11/4/14. This release is truly to become another epic series in the Call of Duty camp of games. What is next? What can be done? Is buying this game worth it?

Well as many would suspect and guess, it is worth it. We would like to say this will be the best but until play time has been had not much can be said other than watching the trailers such as the following:

The game setting is certainly different as to the previous tones of the Call of Duty releases but possibly a new arena of gaming avenues for COD is being set. Modern and past has been the focus for previous releases and now COD is going into the “what if” realm. What if terrorists attack and who, other than the United States Military, will be present and foremost to thwart the advances of these terrorists. The possible brilliance of this campaign will be set on a presence that many of the world’s nuclear plants are the sole target and a facetious organization/company is in place to defend where nations are unable. The main character of the campaign is non-other than House of Cards, a Netfix series, star/actor Kevin Spacey. Kevin plays the role of the overbearing head of an international private corporation named Atlas who is a governmental contracted military firm poised to offer direct action in the event of military need.

Hey, they needed something and maybe they found the correct thing to focus on?

The overall theme of Advanced Warfare will be:

With nations brought to their knees by a global terrorist attack, the world turns to Atlas, the largest private military company on the planet. Power, though, changes everything.

All we can do as gamers is what and see. As far as Advanced Warfare revolutionizing the gaming industry above just being a new release will remain to be seen. As of this point is just a new story line and certainly nothing like we got when Modern Warfare 2 was released. When MW2 was released it changed gaming and the gaming industry. All we as gamers can do is wait for the next best thing and maybe Advanced Warfare will it. Let’s hope for some awesome advancements and something which wants gamers to play and follow and believe.

The release date for Advance Warfare is November 14th, 2014.
