Madden NFL 15 Preview

Madden NFL 15 Preview

Madden NFL 15 by EA Sports Preview and Review

Are you a gamer looking to get your hands on Madden NFL 15 next week when it is released on August 26, 2014?

Gamer.Ninja offers its visitors a sneak peek into the latest EA Sports release, Madden NFL 15.

Madden NFL 15 will be another epic release within the franchise of Madden NFL. Can anyone believe we have hit the fiftieth release in this franchise? Madden is still alive and well and it’s on the verge of releasing another edition.

Offering an insider’s looking into Madden NFL 15 we have to break down the latest offerings of the game. The first offer in the new lineup is the War in the Trenches 2.0. This feature changes the way you control the defensive line. It allows the gamer to strategically control its defensive line. EA Sports offers us an insider’s look into this feature:

Set the tone on defense with more control thanks to an all-new arsenal of pass rush moves, contain the open field with intuitive tackling mechanics, and play as a team with redesigned zone and man coverage logic all while being immersed in the play from the other side of the line, with defensive player lock cameras. Madden NFL 15 delivers on defense.

The next feature within the Madden NFL 15 lineup is The Gauntlet. The Gauntlet is

The next feature within Madden NFL 15 is the launch of the Madden Ultimate Team

Also we have Player Sense 2.0. In Madden NFL 15, Player Sense 2.0 creates the smartest playing Madden ever by improving player emotion, contextual awareness, head tracking, reach tackles and more.

Madden NFL 15 also offers many improvement in the following areas:

  • Pass Inaccuracy
  • Playcalling
  • Deep Dive: Connected Franchise (CFM)
  • Deep Dive: War in the Trenches
  • Deep Dive: Tackling Mechanic
  • Tackling Mechanic

Seriously, Madden NFL 15 will offer some improved features over previous releases but will these features really bring Madden NFL 15 beyond its predecessors? Only gameplay and time will tell. It will certainly be a feat to bring this franchise to the level of a 25th edition release. The obvious about Madden NFL 15 is it is geared towards those dedicated to the release of this epic football video game. Many, online, have said nothing really has changed since 2008. Madden NFL 15 is a rather dinosaur within the gaming industry and those who are dedicated to the franchise will pledge allegiance.  Those who are just coming into the age of gaming and football may also find interest but just like many other areas of gaming, reinventing the wheel does have an expiration date attached.

This aside, Madden NFL 15 does have some new and cool features and will give gamers another season, or year, to decide if they will continue to purchase the next edition of this franchises releases. Will Madden NFL fall to the wayside like some of EA Sports predecessors? Remember Tiger Woods? Honestly that was a cool game for those who were into gold but Tiger Woods had its time and place and maybe Madden NFL will. Fifteen would be considered a golden number and this could be the last and many gamers who are into the Football games will tell the tale of this franchises future.

Buy the game and find out if you are impressed is our final answer. Also, our final answer is to buy the game, play it and come on Gamer.Ninja and share you experiences.

Advanced Warfare Resolution

Advanced Warfare Resolution

Resolution Up in the Air but 60 FPS Secured

The resolution of Call of Duty’s Advanced Warfare is still a mystery but sources state the frame rate will be 60 frames per second.

"So we're 60 frames a second all the way. We are not talking about the – we're still waiting for announcements to come out in terms of where we're at with the resolutions, but I can tell you that the three year development title that we've had, working with everyone involved to make sure that we're getting it right… we're still optimizing the game, but even with where we're at right now, we're really happy. We're ahead of where we were last year, and we still have time, we still have a couple of months to go."

60 frames per second is a major increase and will significantly increase the quality with visualization of gameplay within Advanced Warfare over previous Call of Duty releases. We are assuming this will translate over to online multiplayer but are uncertain at this time. Many gamers know that higher resolutions and increased frame rates do not translate into better online gameplay but the effects of these advancement will help the industry focus on the overall quality of online multiplayer gaming. If not, players will vent and developers will have to listen.

Straight up, low resolution, tube style monitors and high internet speeds are where many like to game at as far as response times and dominating any given online multiplayer match. It does take time to feed images into a viewable source especially at 60 frames per minute. The resolution lag looms as a possible gaming issue but increased internet speeds help crunch this gaming curve.

Either way, Call of Duty’s Advanced Warfare is sure to be a huge increase in viewer quality over previous releases. It is still poised to be an epic release and one which Gamer.Ninja is waiting for.

Elgato HD 60 Review

Elgato HD 60 Gaming Capturing System

Release Date in United States: 08/17/2019

Elgato has brought us a gaming capturing card device which is second to none when capturing your gaming ventures online, multiplayer or in campaign mode.

The Elgato HD 60 will capture HDMI video input and audio. It will capture it in 60 frames per second. This is pretty much Rock Star quality. If you have a YouTube gaming capture video page or offer a gaming video capture blog, Elgato HD 60 is a must and will eliminate many of the hurtles you overcome to bring your gaming videos to the masses.

The positive of the gaming capture card device would be it does come with a USB and HDMI cable. It also offers downloadable video editing software for gamers to edit the content they capture and upload it to the web.

The negative (as of this article) would be the price. The Elgato HD 60 is on the spendy side. Retailing at around the $200 mark puts this device out of reach of many. Possibly rightfully so, but the Elgato HD 60 is an investment verses a splurge. Also it takes some workaround to get your audio included within the capture. The basic mentality when capturing should be what goes through the HDMI is captured and what does not will not be captured.

The Elgato HD 60 offers the following specs:

  • 1080p Capture with 60 fps
  • PlayStation 4, Xbox Input (HDMI)
  • Unlimited Capture to your PC or Mac
  • Flashback Recording
  • Stream Command

Additional Specifications of the Elgato HD 60 are as follows:

  • Interface: USB 2.0
  • Input: PlayStation 4, Xbox One & Xbox 360 (unencrypted HDMI)
  • Output: HDMI (pass-through)
  • Supported resolutions: 1080p60, 1080p30, 1080i, 720p60, 720p30,
  • 576p, 576i, 480p
  • Dimensions: 112 x 75 x 19 mm / 4.4 x 3 x 0.75 in
  • Weight: 106 g / 3.7 oz
  • Comes with: Elgato Game Capture HD60, USB cable, HDMI cable

Seriously, the Elgato HD 60 is a serious gamer’s piece and only serious gaming capture experts will acknowledge its existence. Well, that is what we like to think here at Gamer.Ninja as our experts work through the Elgato HD 60 in its first days of use.
