How to Upgrade House of Wolves Legendary Weapons and Armor
Along with traditional materials, you will now need to obtain an item called the Etheric Light. You will be able to get the Etheric Light as drops when playing Prison of Elders, Iron Banner, Nightfalls, and Trails of Osiris.
Weapons:
All weapons in Destiny, from release to now, can be upgraded to level 365. This is a huge point to take notice of. All your old weapons you love will now be able to be upgraded to attach level 365. So now a person can make a fully maxed out Vex Mythoclast, insert your Etheric Light, and boom! You will have a Vex Mythoclast maxed out at attack level 365. Bonus: As soon as you use an Etheric Light, you will no longer need to re-upgrade the weapon. It will just take the guns to attach level it was at and bring it right to attack degree 365. No more grind, upgrade, and then re-grind all over again.
Armor:
You will be able to ascend your old Raid gear using an Etheric Light. Old Raid armor is still worth something. Did you keep your old Raid armor?
Reforge Ready Perk
The Gunsmith can reforge this weapon, changing its available upgrades but resetting any progression or ascension. To reforge, equip this weapon and speak to the Gunsmith.
The Reforge Ready perk will allow you to restructure any new House of Wolves weapon. Previous legendary weapons will not have this perk available, only the new House of Wolves weapons. You bring the gun to the Gunsmith and select to reforge weapon and bam! You have a different version of perks with that same gun. It takes one Mote of Light, 3 Weapon Parts, and 250 Glimmer to “Reforge” a new House of Wolves weapon. You can do this over and over again until you get the perks you want on the weapon you like. You can do this until you run out of materials to purchase the reforge form the Gunsmith. Pretty cool!
Destiny Nugget: The Gunsmith will be selling telemetries with the House of Wolves update
That is what we know as of now. As we find out more, we will update you and keep you informed of the latest House of Wolves expansion of Destiny.
